An exploration on the value of well designed public spaces and the role of artists in making a good public space in Europe and China and how they can contribute to the well-being in cities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The four panel discussions\u00a0will\u00a0focus on the\u00a0role\u00a0of\u00a0artists\u00a0and cultural\u00a0practitioners\u00a0in the design and place\u00a0making\u00a0process:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel 1<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>How artists can animate (add new value,\u00a0 interpretation and engagement of people) public spaces ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel 2 &#8211; The value (economic cultural and social) of involving artists \/cultural practitioners in\u00a0 the design and management of public spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel 3 &#8211; How artists can be involved in creating sustainable cities?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel 4 &#8211; Creative imaginings and visions on the future <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This session plans to bring new formats and enable artistic exchanges, as well as facilitating best practice sharing and opportunities to learn from each other\u2019s experiences.
