Flowing Streams: Meet the Artists

🌊This year, the theme of water ecologies was a meta-subject. Romania’s rural landscape represents 90% of the country’s territory, with diverse climates and natural resources. While three rivers in Romania have vanished, seven European artists, each representing a different European country, have explored local approaches to the cultural ecology of water in rural areas of Romania, in the context of the 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐒 multi-residency program.𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐒 aimed to harbour meaningful collaborations between artists, architects, anthropologists, hydrologists or community organisers and the local partnering organisations from Romania. We are now reaching the end of the project and you can now “Meet the Artists” in the event which takes place online on Facebook Live Stream.
