Iris Popescu is an architect with a PhD in inclusive design whose work spans practice, activism, and research.
She founded AMAIS , a nonprofit changing mindsets and behaviors around disability through projects such as publishing Romania’s first Inclusive Design Guide.
Internationally, as a Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey alumna at MIT, and collaborating with the Institute for Human Centered Design in Boston, she works to make accessibility and inclusion integral parts of the design process.
